Details: Recorded on January 10 and 11, 1962 at Rudy Van Gelder's studio, Inception marked McCoy Tyner's debut as a leader for Impulse! Records, introducing a cohesive new trio with bassist Art Davis and drummer Elvin Jones, both colleagues from the Coltrane ensemble, whose familiarity lends the session its focused clarity. Across a 6-track program, featuring four Tyner originals ("Inception," "Sunset," "Effendi," and "Blues for Gwen") alongside "There Is No Greater Love" and "Speak Low," the trio setting foregrounds Tyner's distinctive voicings, pedal-point harmonies, and rhythmic drive, supported by Davis and Jones's firm, responsive interplay. Released in 1962 as Impulse! was rapidly expanding, the album established Tyner's identity as a bandleader and stands as an essential early statement in his solo discography. Verve's Acoustic Sounds Series features transfers from analog tapes remastered on 180g vinyl in deluxe gatefold packaging.

Very good but the VAT was very expensive
Hello, thanks for taking the time to leave a review, and we completely understand the frustration. VAT is set by your country, so the rate isn't something we control. If you have any questions about your order, please reach out and we'll be happy to help.
J'ai du payer 45 euros douane pour un produit à 80 c'est une vraie arnaque j'ai demandé un geste commercial et toujours pas de réponse

The record is 10/10, can't say anything bad about the condition. (Or anything else)
Fast delivery and great packaging
Everything was perfect, the vinyl arrived in excellent condition, even the corners were sharp, nothing to complain.
There was a lot of space in the box for this record to bounce off the edges, and still the record held up safely packed in the center. Thank you for packaging the vinyls with care. I will definitely be coming back! This is now my go to spot!!
Very happy with my purchase!! My go to place for vinyls. Thank you Jep’s!
A1 store. Even when I had a question about delivery from America to Ireland.
